In 2015, the world-renowned martial artist attended a dinner party hosted by the Oscar winner at his home. After finishing their meals, Chan took his half-consumed glass of water and disposed of it in an indoor plant, as reported by Forbes. Seeing this, the Bad Boys star asked him, “What are you doing?” to which he responded that there is a huge shortage of water, yet people are wasting it and he just saved some by watering the plant.

Inspired by his thoughtfulness, the 54-year-old promised him that his family will follow this too. Well, from what we can see, our beloved superstar always seeks new advice about life and share it with others too. He has offered words of wisdom to his fellow celebrities and young artists in the industry throughout his career as well.

The Oscar winner once gave crucial advice to Nick Cannon

Nick Cannon, who recently faced the fury of Taylor Swift fans for his comment, once opened up about how Will Smith tried to guide him. It was the time when the host was in his early stage of success and wanted to buy all the fancy things like any youngster. However, his mentor advised him to use it wisely and not blow it away on extravagance.

Whereas Cannon did not take his words seriously and faced huge consequences for ignoring his advice in the coming months. “Not even a year [later]- I totaled that car and lost it and was living back at my mom’s house … my mom’s was living in that condo back in San Diego a year later,” he said.
