From becoming the king’s best friend in The Tudors to being a killer in The Witcher, from playing a teenage boy to becoming Superman, Henry Cavill has established himself as a versatile actor. However, there was a time when he became a reporter as well. No, we are not talking about him being a reporter in Man of Steel.

Cavill once attended a phone launching event of Huawei in 2016. Along with him, the company also invited the Avengers star, Scarlett Johansson. The company had announced its new flagship smartphones, the P9 and P9 Plus at a launch event in London. They also aired a teaser for the ad campaign at the show and later published it on YouTube as well. At the event, the former The Witcher star posted a picture of himself standing in front of Johnsson’s picture, taking an interview. 

He wrote a witty caption and declared Superman supremacy. The Enola Holmes actor wrote, “Reporting in from the Huawei P9 launch event in Shanghai and, according to my sources, Superman is indeed better than Captain America,” in the caption. While fans showered their love for Superman in the comment box, it ended a debate over the same topic as well.

Well, because of the Black Widow star, the British actor ultimately put an end to the long-running debate about Superman vs Captain America. However, both belong to different universes; they both have their own specialty. Both heroes have a huge fanbase as well. Although, recently, as DCU went under a massive reboot, the new DC boss axed Cavill as Superman. So, what is the actor doing currently?

What is Henry Cavill doing currently?

The Tudors star took the exit not only from the DCU but also from The Witcher. The Witcher saw him as Geralt of Rivia, one of the lead characters. However, after getting out from both the major franchises, Cavill secured a role in a Guy Richie film. The film is none other than The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. He even posted pictures from the shoot on his Instagram handle as well. The actor is also going to star in the sequel of his famous film, The Man from the U.N.C.L.E. as well.

Cavill is going to produce and act on one of his dream projects. He partnered with Amazon Studios to create a live-action adaptation of his favorite game, Warhammer 40,000. Along with these, he has secured other major roles in various projects as well.
