Avengers: A Musical? Fans Rope in Hilarious Dwayne Johnson Comparisons as Hugh Jackman is Rumored to Join Marvel’s Secret Wars
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson helmed the role in Black Adam just when the extended DC universe was transitioning back to DCU. Not only did this raise excitement for Henry Cavill’s return as Superman, but also opened up the possibility of Johnson starring in a Black Adam Vs. Superman movie. Moreover, Superman’s cameo in the 2022 Black Adam raised more hope. But that dream was short-lived as the reigns of DC shifted to James Gunn and Peter Safran. What brought Johnson back to the talks was the rumors about Hugh Jackman and his entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Jackman’s role as Wolverine alongside Deadpool has paved the way for a many more much more impactful presence in MCU, with rumors already making rounds. The Wolverine actor was reported to be in talks with Kevin Feige about Avengers: Secret Wars right before the SAG-AFTRA strikes. While the possibility of Deadpool starring in the Avengers movie was reported long back, the new updates have the fans thrilled, leading to a request for a (drum roll) musical rendition of the Avengers!

Ashley Talks Comics, a fan page on Twitter, further expressed her desire, saying, “I want every movie to be a musical.” Citing how if Johnson could spark talks and make Black Adam vs Superman “a thing,” Jackman could request and have the fans’ dreams come true.
The Twitterati were very adamant. Moreover, they made sure they cited enough reasons about how it would be hit.

The Logan actor’s return in his comic book-accurate costume has kept the excitement alive. In addition, Ryan Reynolds‘ upcoming R-rated movie will also be Jackman’s first movie alongside a Marvel superhero. After playing the character for 17 long years and retiring in Logan (2019), the return is definitely exciting. Thus, fans wholeheartedly requested a musical, and roping in Johnson to justify was worth a chuckle.
The tweets were flooded with the request for Kang Opera. They even suggested various ways they could incorporate music. Basically, fans wanted to see Kang the Conqueror sing. They would even be happy with a musical if it were an animated Avengers movie. How accommodating are Marvel fans?

While demands are aplenty from MCU fans, some just want a good movie at the end of the day. And if the SAG-AFTRA strikes don’t hit the production too hard, fans will see if a timely Deadpool 3 release, which can determine Wolverine’s future role in the universe.
