Earlier today, Hugh Jackman shared four images on his X (previously Twitter) account that showed him in a variety of outdoor immersions across California. In them, he could be seen trail biking, taking a selfie at the beach, sitting inside a cave-like rock, and enjoying a sunset overlooking the mountains. However, the caption that read “48 hours.” This was the most intriguing aspect of the tweet because the 1982 flick: 48 Hours has a connection to Deadpool 3!

Well, the X-Men: First Class actor once touted the decades-old flick to be the reason he took up the Deadpool movie in the first place. After deciding to retire as Wolverine upon completing Logan, Jackman only joined Deadpool 3 to recreate the Eddie Murphy plus Nick Nolte dynamic from 48 Hours with Reynolds. Now adding the movie’s name to the caption of his post, he has reaffirmed his determination to complete the film.

Especially since the movie has a huge hurdle to cross before it begins filming again.
