The movie seems to have left a great impact on him as after he saw his dad slapping Chris Rock on stage during the Oscars, he tweeted, “And That’s How We Do It.” It is unclear whether he was referring to Will Smith winning an award for his performance in King Richard or if his reaction was an amalgamation of his father, quite literally clapping back at Chris Rock after he joked about his mother’s condition.

The 24-year-old is followed by people from all walks of life on Twitter owing to his identity. Therefore, the reactions to his tweet from that day could make for the perfect research material for the study of diversity.

Some schooled him on how being violent was not an act to be proud of, and others sided with him. While one can choose to agree or disagree with Jaden Smith’s tweet from that night, that he has been a pillar of support for his father is undeniable.
