Since Ryan Reynolds convinced Hugh Jackman to join him, Deadpool 3‘s cast list has only grown. Several actors who starred in the previous movie are returning for the mutant’s new adventure. Deadline reported that X-Men actresses Shioli Kutsuna and Brianna Hildebrand, who have played Yukio and Negasonic Teenage Warhead, are coming back. Then there is X-Force’s Peter, Colossus, Vanessa, the girlfriend of Wade Wilson, and more. Now a new member is ready to join these returning characters from the franchise.

Fans who closely follow the updates of the Marvel Universe might know Channing Tatum has long been associated with the character of Gambit. Now a Twitter page named Deadpool Updates has revealed that the actor has got a cameo in the movie. According to them, he has shot the scene with the team considering the production started weeks ago.

Apart from this, the Giant Freakin Robots also rolled out a report about his role in the highly anticipated movie. The publication received exclusive information that both Tatum and Taylor Kitsch will play Gambit. Though no official announcement has been made, it is only a matter of time before fans get to know more. This talk started with Wade Wilson’s creator, Rob Liefeld, who hinted at the potential casting in the threequel.

Speaking on Nuke The Fridge, he revealed that he has been very fortunate because he got the chance to see things happening in front of his eyes that most people miss. He stated that he has seen the cast list of the forthcoming film. And thus, the writer believes that people are going to freak out when the movie comes out. Well, we might not know what the film would bring for viewers but this would be a great opportunity for Tatum.

We all know that the American actor never got the chance to play Gambit in the X-Men franchise. So this could offer him the chance to deliver and save his future. Deadpool has been referring to Fox’s X-Men universe since the dawn of this franchise. Not to mention, Reynolds has always shown interest in mythology and the way these confusing timelines bring different characters together.

Whether they are dead or living in the past, he has been successful in bringing one of the most iconic heroes into his world. Also, both the actors are friends in real life and starred in Free Guy, so they already have the chemistry and experience of working together. Therefore,  Deadpool 3 is the perfect place for Gambit to be represented in a movie at last.
