Noted and famed as ‘The Smiling Assassin,’ Yorke scored 66 goals in 152 appearances for Manchester United. In the interview, the striker admits to the “hype” surrounding Wrexham and acknowledged the efforts of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. “If Wrexham approached me and asked me to manage the team, I would consider it.” Making his interest even clearer, he said it would be “a good opportunity” if Wrexham AFC were to come his way.
