Deadpool 3 gets a piece of filming update amid SAG-AFTRA green light

Fans around the world were anxious over Deadpool 3 halting its shoot midway owing to the SAG-AFTRA strikes. While a delay was inevitable, the pushback duration is thankfully short. The hotly anticipated movie will now land on July 26 instead of May 3, 2024. However, there still lies a ton of content to be shot, and here is where a recent update comes in. In all likelihood, the mutant fest will take to active shooting within the next two days, or Tuesday, to be exact.

The date falls in line with many projects across several studios commencing work around the same time period. Notably, filming needs to accommodate the humongous cast that has only ever bulged in size since the last time cameras rolled on the set. Alongside the returning characters from previous Deadpool movies, the original X-Men are likely to appear as new entrants.

The list of expectations and probable storyline for the flick has only ever got twistier. Thanks to a recent spectacle by Loki season two, things may change on the script this time around.
