In a recent post on his Instagram story, Ryan Reynolds seemed to take a trip down memory lane. He shared a clip of an interview done by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Leonardo DiCaprio. During their conversation, Pitt was asked about his role as Vanisher in Deadpool 2. After crediting the 47-year-old for his idea, the Bullet Train actor said that it was a “role he could fill.”
The Adam Project star captioned his story, “Filled it perfectly.” The story ended up having his fans feeling nostalgic over the previous film. It even ended up being one of the funniest moments in the movie. In it, the 59-year-old played an invisible character who winds up getting added to Deadpool’s band of misfits. While almost the entire team met their ends in gruesome ways after a failed plane jump, that was the moment viewers found out about the actor’s role.
Ryan Reynolds’ post showed fans that they are not the only ones going down Deadpool memory lane. However, with Deadpool 3 finally making progress, fans have been more focused on that.

Earlier this year, the world of Hollywood came to a standstill. What started as the SAG-AFTRA strike spiralled into something much bigger and all the glitz and glamour were put on hold. Many films, including Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 were stopped mid-filming. Thankfully, they finally came to an agreement with the studios recently and things seem to be getting back on track.
Now, with the SAG-AFTRA strike officially over, the cinematic universe is gearing up for another installment of Deadpool’s antics. After a slew of delayed release dates, the final one was announced by no other than Ryan Reynolds. It has sent the hype for the film through the roof. However, with everything fans know about the film already, waiting for 8 more months could be next to impossible.
