After having rough endings for some of his iconic characters, Henry Cavill finally seems to be having a nice time in his career. After his exit from The Witcher and DCU, his fans were wondering about his future. However, the setbacks have turned out to be great for the English actor, as he is going to fulfill his nerdy dream by featuring in two war films. In the latest development, Cavill has secured another major project with the director of an Oscar-nominated film.
The Enola Holmes actor is going to star in an upcoming Western film, The Last Gunslinger. As reported by Giant Freakin Robot, the 39-year-old actor will team up with Dexter Fletcher for this Apple TV+ film. The upcoming film will be a part of the Western revival. The film has a typically archetypal plot in this canon. Also, this genre is terrible as it has ghastly and aloof men like in the films, Unforgiven, Shame, Open Range, and so on. In all these movies, even worse men bring back the retired old men. The Bohemian Rhapsody director is going to do the same with The Tudors star, too.
However, there might be a slight chance of adding creativity to the Cavill movie. Nevertheless, people who love this genre are used to the traditional plot design. Now, it seems the Superman actor has had almost every genre of cinema.
