Wrexham AFC has come a long way from being a dusted football club that was only gathering attention due to the investment of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. As 2023 rolls around, the Welsh football club has gained promotion to the EFL League Two, an extended contract with Ben Foster, a possibility of starring in Deadpool 3, and Blake Lively as a sponsor.

In a welcomed change from when Lively found herself crossed with her husband over a multi-million dollar investment, Blake Lively’s Betty Buzz decided to sponsor the Wrexham FC training kits. But looking at how the actress is promoting her Betty Booze line with the help of select Wrexham FC players, it is becoming clearer that smart advertising runs in the Lively-Reynolds family.

After running a successful soda sprinkler line by the name of Betty Buzz, the Gossip Girl alumni dropped a booze line, coincidentally after welcoming her fourth child. Both Lively and her husband often like to prepare a drink in front of the camera in order to promote their brands. However, this time around, Blake Lively sought help from James Jones, Rob Lainton, and Luke Young.

In the spirit of Wrexham AFC playing friendlies in the United States, Lively arranged her own version of friendlies for the players. However, it was not just the pitch of the ground that was different. The Betty Booze owner took the players out of the field and into a grocery store to play friendlies. The player who sells the most Betty Booze drinks the fastest, wins.

Owing to Ryan Reynolds’ lack of brain-to-mouth filter, Blake Lively has had to deal with the notion that she is a Wrexham AFC hater. This and also the fact that the Deadpool actor could be spotted giving some of the best reactions in the crown in 9 out of 10 Wrexham matches. More money and less time with her husband were deduced as the reasons behind her hatred by netizens.

While a lot has changed since their iconic family outing not long after their fourth baby, some still remained doubtful. As she sponsored the club and also took the players out of the field, Blake Lively has masterfully trampled any such claims.
