Deadpool 3 has been in the news ever since it was announced. The film was initially set to release in September of this year but was pushed back to November. And then, it was finally confirmed to be released in May 2024. But Disney removing it from their theatrical slate crushed all the hopes fans had. Despite this, time and again, rumors and insights of new characters joining the cast have kept the spirits alive, making fans hopeful of an amazing blockbuster.

Recently, Ben Affleck also sparked a long trail of rumors after he was spotted on the set of Deadpool 3, but while those rumors may have been put to rest, there has been one ‘mischievous’ rumor that has fans crossing their fingers hoping it will be true.

A ‘mischievous’ cameo might feature in Deadpool 3

The Deadpool franchise has become synonymous with one sarcastic man, Ryan Reynolds. But recently there have been rumors that another one of Marvel’s mischief makers would be making his way to the franchise. A post shared by a fan page on X, formerly Twitter, posted a new update about how Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson had shot scenes in the upcoming flick before the SAG-AFTRA strike.

This comes after the confirmation of a scene shot with Loki’s Miss Minutes for the flick earlier in July. However, there is no confirmation about the rumored crossover of Loki and Mobius in Deadpool 3. Fans may just have to for the film the figure this one out.

While social media pages have fueled the fire with set pictures and drawn-out conclusions, the only rumor that has been addressed so far has left fans without their Daredevil.

Deadpool 3 wants the Daredevil cast, but not Daredevil

Recently, DC’s former Batman, Ben Affleck, was spotted walking around the set, which instantly went viral. This started rumors about him joining the cast, keeping in mind the multiverse theory to be seen in the movie. While most fans immediately expected the actor to be reprising his role as Matt Murdock, their little bubble burst pretty soon.

Daniel Richtman revealed that Ben Affleck would not be playing Daredevil in Deadpool 3. While this saddened fans, the news of Jennifer Garner returning as Elektra, made fans nostalgic.
