If there is one thing fans have learned about Ryan Reynolds, it is that he is drawn to the element of surprise. He will use Winnie the Pooh to promote a networking company. And also an antique football club out of nowhere and hit up Oscar actor Brad Pitt to be a part of his action extravaganza, only to make him play Vanisher. This affinity to surprises is not privy to his own movies because as it became clear by Dwayne Johnson’s Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, he also likes to be the surprise.

The dynamic duo of Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson has proven to be a multi-million dollar hit with Netflix’s Red Notice. And The Rock is set to hit up his friends with benefits one more time as he makes another Fast and Furious spinoff.

The new additions to the Fast & Furious franchise seem to be coming quite fast and becoming furiously expensive with every addition. And not one to leave his trademark franchise, Jonson recently announced that he will be making a Fast & Furious spinoff. However, it is unclear if the spinoff follows the trope of Hobbs & Shaw. What has become clear, however, as per Giant Freakin Robot is that Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Hart are set to join Dwayne Johnson on his passion project.

One look at the success of Red Notice and Jumanji, it becomes clear that Dwayne Johnson, paired with actors who have quite a lot of funny bones, is a formula that never fails. The Rock brought in the Deadpool actor to make one of the most cheer-inducing cameos in Hobbs & Shaw as a CIA agent by the name of Agent Victor. Yes, the one who stressed that Luke Hobbs’ middle name is Rebecca and got a matching tattoo with him.

Another cameo that impressed us was that of Kevin Hart. He played the role of friendly Federal Air Marshal Dinkley in the 2019 spinoff. It is confirmed that Reynolds and Hart will be appearing in the movie. However, it is to see what extent will their roles matter.

Is the Deadpool actor only making a cameo in Dwayne Johnson’s Fast & Furious spinoff?

In 2019, the Deadpool actor made fans laugh out loud with his cameo in Johnson’s spinoff. But while the actor appeared only as Agent Victor, there is another role that he played. The Canadian native also made Idris Elba’s character Brixton Lore dance at his directions as he voiced Eteon Director.

It is unclear how much of the $760 million maker spinoff is Dwayne Johnson going to expand upon in the new spinoff. However, if he dwells his fingers back into the Hobbs and Shaw plotline, it would be a great opportunity to see Ryan Reynolds play a menacing character against The Rock. Nonetheless, this is not the first time Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson have breached headlines together. Days ago, it was announced that Johnson is eyeing eternal glory with another sports club following the path of the Deadpool star.
