Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have pushed the envelope regarding what football club owners are supposed to be as they continue to go above and beyond to make Wrexham AFC a whole new league above the others. Not only have they helped the club move higher in the food chain that is EFL, but it has also turned the SToK Racecourse ground into a playground for all the big names in football.

As if its association with nearly every major footballer in the league was not enough, Wrexham AFC might soon be receiving its most stellar resume yet. Again courtesy of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

Wrexham AFC’s pool of compliments has long overflown as prominent entities from both football and Hollywood give a nod of approval to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s efforts. This time it is Dwight Yorke who has come bearing good news, ironically, as he declares himself unemployed. Yorke, while speaking to OLBG, said that if Reynolds and McElhenney match his mindset, then he considers Wrexham AFC a “good opportunity“.

One of the numerous reasons behind the overwhelming love that the club receives stems from the fact that the new owners were freshers. With not even one filling of a football-related endeavor, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took a million-dollar plunge owing to their love for the game. This has translated in the best way possible as they go from fans to owners. But perhaps a little experience won’t hurt anybody. And this is why Dwight Yorke’s onboarding can really accelerate the club’s growth.

The Macarthur FC in charge is also of the thought that as funny as the owners are, the growth of Wrexham AFC is no funny business. And this collaboration, unlike the others, is just a call away from becoming real if Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney pass his vibe check. Not the first time, the owners have been tested.
