After Betty Buzz, Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham AFC Has Another Major Collaboration, This Time With StōK
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney put in more than just a few million dollars when they purchased Wrexham AFC. The Hollywood A-listers have put in work and a lot of planning to revive the once-deemed antique Welsh football club. Therefore, as Wrexham FC gained automatic promotion to EFL League 2, the celebration was not restricted to just the team and its owners. Ever since its big win against Notts County and Ben Foster’s entry, everyone wants to be a part of the Red Dragons’ journey.
The Red Dragons played comfortably through the season thanks to Blake Lively sponsoring the team’s training kit. And now that they have upscaled, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have bagged a possibly 7-digit-worth sponsorship for Wrexham FC.

Wrexham FC, since being sold to McElhenney and Reynolds, has a history of being associated with big numbers. The club recently scored a sponsor in Blake Lively. And even before the team can move into pre-season, the Deadpool actor and Rob McElhenney have announced Wrexham FC’s first-ever sponsor of the Racecourse.
The Racecourse Ground is known to be the oldest International football club and will now be called StōK Racecourse Ground. The Wrexham FC club owners announced it as the sponsor in the only way they know how: through a comedically excellent video.
The latest sponsor of Wrexham FC is not even available in the United Kingdom owing to it being an American company. However, it will be fun to see if the brand comes with more tea flavors. As for now, Wrexham FC team members will be sticking to their tea.
It may, for a moment, seem that Reynolds and McElhenney joined hands with StōK so that they are not the only Americans in Welsh. However, the million dollars benefit and a possible sponsorship for the pre-season American tour are key in this new deal.
America and its love for Wrexham FC
It is almost impossible to believe, given the popularity of the club, that it is not one of the best football clubs in England. And the credit for their global popularity goes to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

It is through their docuseries Welcome to Wrexham that they built a sense of community with the viewers while bringing the club back to life. And its newest sponsor, StōK, happens to be among the millions that the owners touched through their telling of Wrexham’s tale of revival. The Welsh team with two American owners has added two American sponsors to its team as well.
