King Charles’ coronation will have special guests, including Winnie the Pooh! The lovable bear has been confirmed to be part of the Royal ceremony as the commonwealth will crown its new King in a historic moment witnessed by the world. While this will be an important moment, modern times will showcase a mix of celebrities and an adored imaginary character to mark the beginning of a new era.
The coronation is set to be held at Westminster Abbey on 6th May 2023. Around 2000 guests from around the world are set to attend the Royal ceremony. This will include world-renowned politicians, celebrities, and, of course, members of the royal family, minus The Duchess of Sussex.

The world will witness a Royal coronation after 1963 when Queen Elizabeth took the throne. After reigning for more than seventy years, the beloved Queen was laid to rest last year. Now King Charles’ ceremony will showcase the mix of century-old traditions combined with modern entities. As per a tweet by PopBase, Winnie the Pooh has been added to the list. He will be appearing in a video with Tom Cruise for a pre-recorded video where they will reveal some fun lesser-known facts about the newly crowned king.
Tom Cruise has remained a long-time ally of the Royals, even sharing a special bond with the late Queen. Apart from his honey-glazed video, representatives have also confirmed of Nicole Scherzinger joining the event. Other big names include Bear Grylls, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Tom Jones, etc. Performances by Lang Lang and Lucy will be part of the ceremonies’ entertainment. Hugh Bonneville of The Downtown Abbey will host the Royal event.
