As reported by Deadline, FX has confirmed that the second season will land on the 12th of September, 2023. It will subsequently be released on Disney+ and Hulu just a day later. The series has earned quite a name for itself thanks to the Deadpool actor’s star power. Wrexham AFC was stuck in the fifth tier of the soccer league, but thanks to the co-owners investment, it is now well on its way to the National League, along with an upcoming tour of the US.

The town of Wrexham, which was staring at oblivion, is now a tourist hotspot. However, this may take a toll on his other projects. None of the actor’s projects are as anticipated as his dream collaboration with Hugh Jackman for Deadpool 3. Marvel Studios would be looking to win over fans with its first-ever R-rated debut. The movie has already been delayed as a result of the SAG-AFTRA strikes and as such fans are worried about its production. And Reynolds’s fixation with Wrexham might cause a headache for Marvel, as the actor may look to include Wrexham cameos in the movie.
