“A real darting tongue” – When Ryan Reynolds Recalled His Experience Kissing This Spiderman Star
Ryan Reynolds might be one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, but that does not keep the actor from showing off his funny side. Over the years fans have gotten many hilarious moments from the Deadpool actor. One of those moments consisted of a surprising kiss between him and a prominent Spiderman actor that everyone loves. Although the 46-year-old has had many on-screen kisses throughout his career, this one stole the spotlight.
While he may have admitted that his wife of 11 years, Blake Lively, was his best kiss to date, the actor could not leave out the kiss that stunned the world back in 2017.

According to reports from ET, in 2017, Ryan Reynolds talked about his kiss with Andrew Garfield. While the duo may have stunned the Golden Globes audience, they gave fans a night they will never forget. Shortly after the award ceremony was wrapped up, the actor was asked about the moment he shared with the Tick, Tick…Boom! star. After establishing that his wife was the better kisser, he claimed that Garfield was “a wonderful kisser” and said that he had “a real darting tongue.”
While that may have left fans cracking up, the kiss had come as a way to cheer up Ryan Reynolds after he had lost the award for Best Performance to Ryan Gosling for La La Land. Even though the Wrexham co-owner has been nominated for his blockbuster hit, Deadpool, he was unfortunately snubbed at the awards show. However, Andrew Garfield quickly swooped in and saved the day like the superhero he was.
While Ryan Reynolds, who has since shared a kiss with a hockey player, got his chance to share his experience, Garfield also had his time to shine when he made his way onto The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

After making headlines with their little makeout session, Andrew Garfield came clean about the reason behind it. During a segment on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Garfield said that he “just wanted Ryan to know” that he loved him “whether he won or lost” the award. He went on to say that the Free Guy star had shown up and given it his all, which was enough for the Hacksaw Ridge star.
Although fans loved to watch the two lock lips, Garfield took it a step further. After talking about his kiss with Reynolds, he leaned across the table to recreate the moment with Colbert. While that second kiss may have sent fans reeling, it was the first one that would be etched into their memories forever.
