Netflix resurrects a Leonardo DiCaprio classic

Over the years, Leonardo DiCaprio has become known for playing iconic roles. Although he might have only one Oscar at the moment, there is no denying that he is an astonishing actor. One of his best projects so far has been 2013’s The Great Gatsby, which seemed to have been forgotten until now. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), it was revealed that Netflix was adding the film to its library soon.

The post claimed that the film would be added on February 1st along with Moneyball, Something’s Gotta Give, and even the sixth season of Young Sheldon. DiCaprio’s film came out over ten years ago and broke box office records when it did. The sudden resurrection of the historical drama could help the world rediscover the 49-year-old’s amazing talents, which might be needed after his recent snub.

While the actor had worked his hardest to give the world a new perspective with Killers of the Flower Moon, it seemed to fall short at the Oscar nominations.
