After Plans of Copying Wrexham, Ryan Reynolds Shouts Out Robbie Williams in a Special Way
Over the years, Ryan Reynolds has been adored for his ability to take a joke. While most stars seem to be sensitive about jokes made about their careers or certain decisions, the 47-year-old prefers going through life in a more laid-back way. Although his followers are used to him roasting his gorgeous wife, Blake Lively, and all of his friends, this time the Deadpool 3 star chose to do something a little different.
In a surprising turn of events, the actor took to social media and ended up giving a shout-out to the English singer/songwriter, Robbie Williams.

In a recent story on his Instagram account, Ryan Reynolds shared a quote from the iconic musician, Robbie Williams. In the picture, there was a piece of paper that read, “Apologies for being so charismatic, I tried not being. But it seems there’s nothing I can do about it.” He even tagged the singer, making sure that everyone knew it came from him.
While the quote may have been from Williams, yet it seemed to fit The Adam Project star perfectly too. Although the two have not been spotted together before and absolutely nothing is known about their friendship, there seems to be an unspoken bond between them. However, so far, it has not made its way to the public eye and there is also a possibility that it never will, given the singer’s revelations last year.
This was the first time that the actor had acknowledged the singer after he had revealed his plans to become a club owner like Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Williams could end up being Ryan Reynolds’ rival
Just last year, it was revealed that Robbie Williams was planning on following in Ryan Reynolds’ footsteps. Like the actor and his co-owner, Rob McElhenney, the singer was also considering buying his hometown football club, Port Vale. Following the takeover of Wrexham AFC a few years back, Reynolds and McElhenney have transformed not only the team but also the Welsh town. While Williams might have been inspired by the father of four, it seemed that the singer had plans to go head-to-head against Wrexham at some point.

He was even planning on teaming up with the Darts legend, Phil Taylor, who retired last year. The two men entering the football world would shake things up. However, there has been no confirmation of their plans. While the world might eventually see the icons go up against each other, that day seems like it is quite a while away.
