Lindsay Lohan is back with a Christmas movie on Netflix, which is still untitled. But from the reports, it is confirmed that the film will be a romantic comedy, i.e. a perfect genre for Christmas movies. The film will be aired on Netflix next Christmas, featuring Lohan opposite Chord Overstreet.

The plot develops around “a newly engaged hotel heiress,” played by Lindsay Lohan, who slides into amnesia after she meets with an accident. After she wakes up, she “finds herself in the care of a handsome lodge owner (played by Chord Overstreet) and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.”

The cast also includes George Young, Jack Wagner, and Olivia Perez.

The first look of the film screams out ‘walking in the winter wonderland’. Both of them are dressed in sweaters, scarves, gloves, and boots, thereby giving us full winter Christmas vibes. This untitled film will be directed by Janeen Damian; Michael Damian, Jeff Bonnett, and Ron Oliver served as the scriptwriters.

After a long time, Lindsay Lohan is back in the industry. During her time away from the limelight, she appeared sporadically in films like in 2013 Paul Schrader’s The Canyons, in 2014 Speed-the-Plow, in 2018 British comedy Sick Note, a reality show in 2019 named Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club. Lohan also appeared as a judge in an Australian show.

In 2019, on a New Year’s special Lindsay Lohan claimed to the host that she wanted to, “come back to America and start filming again… taking back the life that I worked so hard for, and sharing it with my family and you guys.”

Netflix has been busy with the affair of Christmas films, and every year it brings us some amazing movies for the Christmas holidays. Some of the films are Jingle Jangle, A Christmas Prince, The Christmas Chronicles, and The Princess Switch.
