FINALLY! Legal Firm Succeeds in Serving Kanye West After Long Efforts to Track Him
Kanye West has finally been served. Law firm Greenberg Traurig has been in the news for quite some time. First for representing Ye, then for struggling to get rid of him as a client. The reason for dumping him had largely to do with his controversies and anti-Semitic comments that end up hurting people at large.
The firm’s founder came from a background wherein they faced discrimination. So when Ye made remarks about Jewish people and praised Hitler, the firm decided to cut ties with him. But doing so was not going to be an easy task. In fact, it was a process of over months, with them finally succeeding.

Law firm finally succeeds in serving Kanye West after a recent letdown
While Kanye West has been all over the news, tracking him down in person seems to have been a difficult task. As per AllHipHop, New York-based law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP has been struggling for months to serve Ye in order to relieve themselves as his lawyers. But it seemed to be a difficult task even for a firm so big. Nina D. Boyajian of the law firm stated that an attorney contacted them on behalf of Ye. “I requested that he coordinate personal service of the Order on Ye,” she said. The request was finally granted and on 1st February, the above-mentioned attorney sent an email of a Certificate of Service. Their struggle to hereby relieve themselves has come to an end.

So far, the firm has tried to come up with alternative plans to serve him, including requests of posting ads in LA newspapers where he resides. But their requests were rejected by Judge Analisa Torres, a district judge of the United States. She rejected the request on the grounds that the firm had failed to diligently track Ye down.

In return, she suggested the firm hire a private investigator and granted additional time to do so. The firm initially represented Ye in a copyright case, but with them gone, it will be seen how things proceed. The entertainer has gone through quite some lawyers due to his comments or lack of payments.
