When to expect DOTA: Dragon’s Blood season 2 release?
DOTA: Dragon’s Blood has been a success on Netflix, where it has been watched by many gamers and anime fans. But what about DOTA: Dragon’s Blood season 2?
DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is an anime about Valve’s huge MOBA game, DOTA. Exploring the characters in that game in-depth, the anime that was released on Netflix this month has been met with good feedback from the viewers. Both DOTA fans and regular viewers liked the anime. This anime also developed by Ashley Miller, who also worked for productions like Thor, Fringe, and Andromeda before. Directed by Park So Young and Kim Eui Jeong, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood has the first season with eight episodes, each running roughly for 27 minutes, on Netflix right now. Netflix and Valve are both in the production process of the anime.

Unfortunately, the second season of Netflix’s hit anime series has not been announced yet. We do not even know whether the anime is going to continue, thus cannot say anything about the release date as of now.

As it is still not announced, a second season is not supposed to be in development right now. With this being the case, and given how hard it is to put some work in right now because of the pandemic, it does not seem likely that the second season has a release date that is going to be here soon.
If there’s going to be a DOTA: Dragon’s Blood season 2, the release date will probably be no sooner than 2022, unless the crew has started producing the second season without announcing it, which is unlikely.
