The Cyberpunk 2077 inspired anime, Cyberpunk: Edgerunner became the talk of the town ever since Netflix dropped its NSFW trailer. This release is a victory for both anime and video game fans. Moreover, Netflix has brought in geniuses such as Rafal Jaki aka the man behind the production of The Witcher 3:Wild Hunt, The Witcher, Ronin, and the Cyberpunk 2077 game itself as a show runner and executive producer for this highly anticipated anime.

The pop colors and vibrant theme had fans in awe of the trailer is all thanks to Studio Trigger, which is home to animes such as Little Witch Academia and Darling in the Franxx in its kitty. With all the glory attached to Cyberpunk: Edgerunner, fans are ecstatic for the release and could not bear the waiting. Well, some prayers were heard and Netflix came in bearing good news.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunner is greeting us sooner than expected

Its raining one good news after another for fans of this anime series. Given the intriguing plot and the already devoted fans of Cyberpunk 2077, the hype is off the roof. And Netflix decided to give fans what they want. The anime series which was earlier slated to release somewhere down in mid September will now be getting an early release. You heard that right! Cyberpunk: Edgerunner announced on their Twitter account that they will be greeting us sooner than expected.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunner is structured to have ten stand alone episodes. The series follows a young street kid named David Martinez. He is left to fend himself in the tech crazy and modification obsessed city. With the help of innocent looking Lucy, he becomes a mercenary that no one can mess with by the name of cyberpunk.

Although not all the episodes, the first three episodes of Cyberpunk: Edgrerunners will be premiering beforehand. They will be released during a special watch party hosted on Cyberpunk :Edgerunner‘s Twitch, so fans all around the globe can tune in to watch the brilliance together.

The Twitch party will be held on the 12th of September, Monday, at 7 PM CEST. Those of you who are busy during that time, do not frown because Cyberpunk:Edgerunners will be released in all its entirety on Netflix on the 13th of September.
