We knew we were going to get another season of Bridgerton. After all, the series was renewed for two more seasons in 2021. But the hot topic of discussion was which characters will get the limelight in the next season. After months of debate, and reading into various Bridgerton content that was released after season 2, fans finally got the answer. Season 3 will focus on the friends, Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. Charithra Chandran who plays Edwina Sharma and Nicola Coughlan who portrays Penelope gushed about their romance that’s to take place in season 3. NICOLA COUGHLAN WANTS PENELOPE TO SEE COLIN AS A FLAWED HUMAN Penelope and Colin (Luke Newton) are childhood friends. While Colin had never quite seen Penelope in the romantic light ever, Penelope was always besotted with him. She was never able to move past that childhood crush.
