Ricky Gervais and his irony

One of the most effective tools in any comedy is the use of irony, and Ricky uses it the best. Emotions are subjective and some jokes in the show might offend us or they would make us laugh our hearts out, says Ricky in his opening bit. This is one of the most effective and the best use of irony there is.

In this one-hour-long Netflix special, he talks about so many things, including the rules of comedy, generalized jokes, and how super actual nature is. He reacts to some tweets about him as well in the funniest way possible. This exposes his sense of humor at best! He even talks about the cats and the dogs and makes some of the funniest jokes about the topic. He slams some intense jokes as well.
