LGBTQ+ stories were consigned to cautionary tales or comic relief for the majority of the film industry’s existence.  If LGBTQ+ characters appeared in films, they were frequently there to encourage the main character’s development without the audience discovering anything about them. As a result, LGBTQ+ romance is a relatively new phenomenon in film, but one that is, luckily, thriving. New films made by and for gay people have recently captured the hearts of audiences and critics. But there are many romantic films that need a lot more attention. So, celebrate Pride Month with a gorgeous LGBT romance movie!
