Snyder is getting ready for a big year! His Justice League

release on HBO Max on March 18, and Army of the Dead will be his first project
for Netflix and his return to the zombie genre. In 2004 he started his career by
directing a remake of George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead. 

WHAT’S THE SYNOPSIS ARMY OF THE DEAD?

An official synopsis for Army of the Dead reads: “Following a zombie outbreak in
Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the
quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.”

Taking advantage of the confusion after the zombie invasion in Las Vegas, a
group of ex-soldiers planning to enter quarantine and carry out a large-scale
robbery. The film stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Ana De La Reguera, Theo
Rossi, Huma Qureshi, Omari Hardwick, Tig. Notaro includes names such as Hiroyuki
Sanada, Garret Dillahunt, Matthias Schweighöfer, Raúl Castillo, Nora Arnezeder,
and Samantha Win.

WHEN WILL ZACK SNYDER’S ARMY OF THE DEAD RELEASE?

Zack Synder’s Army of the Dead will meet the audience on May 21, 2021. Snyder
recently announced he would not be getting paid for his work on the new cut of
the film.

Zack Synder: “I didn’t want to be beholden to anyone, and it allowed me to keep
my negotiating powers with these people pretty strong,” he explained in a new
interview.

Dave Bautista: “I’m a zombie fan, I tried to get on Walking Dead for years, I
said I would come and play a zombie for free, but they said, ‘You’re too big!’”

Schweighöfer, who will direct the lead role of the prequel movie, will also give
