You is a psychological thriller that Netflix picked up in 2019. An adaptation from Caroline Kepnes novel of the same title, it was first owned by Lifetime. The series made its debut there in 2018. Netflix came up in the next year and bought it, which made You a lot more popular. There are currently two seasons of the series on Netflix, and fans have been waiting for the third one ever since Netflix confirmed it in January 2020.

The first two seasons of Netflix&#8216;s popular psychological thriller were based on Caroline Kepnes books. The first book of You laid the basis for the first season, whereas the sequel Hidden Bodies was the source of inspiration for You season 2. Even though the connection between the books and the series is not so strong, we expect Netflix to adapt You season 3 from the third novel, You Love Me. As Netflix does not adapt the books exactly as they are, there is always room for some surprises and twists in You Season 3.
We&#8217;re probably going to learn more about the new lady, who Joe spies on. As for the quality of the episodes, the showrunner Sara Gamble is pretty confident. The drama series showrunner explained how the crew managed to pull off a great job despite the hardships brought about by the pandemic. She bragged about their success to wrap up the filming process with no positive cases. She also <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/you-showrunner-interview-season-3-new-episodes-are-bonkers/">said</a> that the new episodes are going to be &#8220;fucking bonkers.&#8221; So, we think you can expect a great season.
<h4>What is the release date of You season 3?</h4>
Netflix is going to release You Season 3 in Q4 2021, according to what chief content officer Ted Sarandos said in an earnings call. This means that the release date will be in the last quarter of the year. Even though we do not have an exact release date for You season 3, we know Netflix is going to release it in October, November, or December.
Netflix has a pretty stacked lineup for the last quarter with all the major productions. <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/?s=the+witcher+season+2">The Witcher season 2</a> is also among the list of Q4 2021 releases alongside You season 3. We also expect <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/money-heist-season-5-release-date-everything-we-know-so-far/">Money Heist season 5</a> to be released around October 2021. Chances are Netflix would like to release those new installments as far away as possible, as to give them enough time to people to celebrate them on their own. Netflix will probably release the You Season 3 in November or December 2021.
