The month of May has been quite dramatic for Hollywood, to say the least. On May 2, the Writers Guild of America (WGA) started their strike after being pushed to an existential brink. Thousands of writers and creative minds gathered on the streets to demand higher pay and secured career. Currently, some of the biggest projects are facing delays and failing to reach a destination. But artists across the industry and showing their support and Sydney Sweeney has joined the bandwagon in a new interview.

The actress wished luck for the union and hoped for things to fall into the right place once again. “You can’t do anything without writers, so everybody deserves to be paid and I hope that we figure something out fast,” she added.

While one of the faces that attracted the attention of fans the most was Pete Davidson, the former Saturday Night Live cast member. The television host lent his support by handing out pizza to protestors in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighborhood.
As of now, there is no update on when the drive will come to an end. Time will tell how many shows and movies will get affected by the strike and how many more celebrities will come forward to show their support.
