Yasuke anime series coming soon to Netflix. This new teaser trailer of the anticipated new anime series has landed with revealing its cast before. The staff members of LeSean Thomas and MAPPA’s anime revealed the Japanese cast through the new teaser that showcases the voices, and visuals from the upcoming anime series.

Creator LeSean Thomas and Japanese animation studio MAPPA have been working together to bring the story of an African man, who climbed the ranks and became one of the greatest real historical figures from feudal Japan. Yasuke will be telling us the tale of Japan’s only fascinating and mysterious Black Samurai in Japanese history and how he became one of the greatest real historical figures from feudal Japan.

And today, there is finally a new teaser of Yasuke that came along after being waited for a while by anime lovers. And the new teaser trailer that previews the Japanese voices, and visuals unveiled the upcoming anime’s Japanese cast.

Here’s the official synopsis from the Yasuke series:

“In a war-torn feudal Japan filled with mechs and magic, the greatest ronin knew, Yasuke struggles to maintain a peaceful existence after a past life of violence. But when a local village becomes the center of social upheaval between warring daimyo, Yasuke must take up his sword and transport a mysterious child who is the target of dark forces and bloodthirsty warlords. The story of Yasuke, the first African samurai who actually served the legendary Oda Nobunaga, will be released to the world.”

We should specify first that the following names are just predicted according to the similarity of the voices’ on the teaser. The only cast member of the anime series that is confirmed officially so far is LaKeith Stanfield, and he will be the voice of Yasuke’s English dub on the show.

And the Japanese cast will probably include:

• Eri Kitamura as Ishikawa
• Kenji Kitamura as Achо̄ja
• Shunsuke Kubozuka as Hart
• Hiroki Nanami as Nikiita
• Rie Tanaka as Ichika
• Jun Soejima as Yasuke
• Takehiro Hira as Nobunaga Oda
• Kiko Tamura as Saki
• Yoshiko Sakakibara as Yami no Daimyо̄
• Fusako Urabe as Natsumaru

On the other side, the crew includes Satoshi Iwataki as the chief animation director along with Takeru Satō as the chief technical director. Kenichi Shima is in charge of sub-character designs, and Minoru Nishida is in charge of the world art design and setting. Junichi Higashi is directing the art, while Yuki Nomoto is the 3D CG director. Hyo Gyu Park is the compositing director of photography. Azusa Sasaki is the color key artist, and Mutsumi Takemiya is editing the show.
