Will Lucifer season 6 be on Netflix in 2021? Fans of the series are curious whether the show is going to land on the platform this year.

One of the most popular TV series on Netflix is Lucifer. The show is also one of the most successful titles on the platform as it managed to stay in the Top 10 chart for two consecutive weeks. Because of the show’s popularity, the fans of Lucifer are eagerly waiting for the sixth season. They are also curious about the release date and wondering when the show is going to land on the world’s leading streaming service.

The fifth season of the series came in two separate parts. The first half of the show arrived back in 2020 and the remaining episodes landed on the platform on May 28, 2021. Now the sixth and the final season of Lucifer is on its way. Though the process was filled with difficulties as the fans did not want the show to end and started digital petitions that received more than 100.000 signatures. In the end, they managed to breathe life to a new season of Lucifer and the series got a renewal. And on June 23th, 2020, the production received greenlight and production of the sixth season started.

Netflix has not made any announcements about the premiere date of the sixth season. Even though we do not have information about Lucifer Season 6 release date we can still make a guess based on the production stage of the new season. We should also note that the production was wrapped back in March 2021. Therefore the post-production process probably started and it might even be completed as well. And when we add the six or seven months gap between each season, it is safe to say that Lucifer is not returning anytime soon.

Considering that the second half of the fifth season dropped in May 2021, the sixth and the final installment of Lucifer might arrive in May 2022. Optimistically speaking, we might even see the final season in early 2022. But the series is not likely to land on Netflix this year.
