High Rise Invasion is currently airing on Netflix since 25 February and it has gathered a considerable massive of fans already. The anime series has acclaimed by most people very positively, as well. So, as most viewers already finished up the whole episodes that season includes. They also started to wonder whether the beloved High Rise Invasion will have its season 2 or not.

The new anime series is Netflix‘s first anime lineup of 2021, which is a horror-mystery-themed Japanese survival anime. It follows a 16-year-old high school student Yuri Honjō finding herself lost in an “abnormal space”. There are countless skyscrapers that are connected by suspension bridges and “masked figures” mercilessly slaughter their confused and fleeing victims. And we have been watching her as she tries to make a choice to survive in this hellish world.

At the Netflix Anime Festival, High Rise Invasion‘s release was first announced among the other four anime projects: Rilakkuma’s Theme Park Adventure, Thermae Romae Novae, Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan and The Way of the Househusband. So, will High Rise Invasion be coming to Netflix for a new season?

Since the anime has just released on 25 February, it would be too early to hear about the beloved anime’s second season. So, there is still no renewal been made for High Rise Invasion season 2 from Netflix or Zero-G.  But on the other hand, if we consider the first season as really an open-ending, it wouldn’t hurt to say we will probably see the series would continue. Let’s dig a little more together, but I should warn you there might have some spoilers on the rest.

Even if we can’t count on Netflix about what it is going to do all the time, it often adds new seasons depending on the show’s performance and viewers’ comments. And so far, High Rise Invasion‘s reviews seem really positive as well. On the other hand, there are lots of questions left to viewers’ minds which means the series is actually supposed to go on in order to answer them. So, as of now, the survival anime has been loved and already got anticipated for a second season to see more of it. Considering all those, fans may relieve and expect  High Rise Invasion season 2. At least, we think and hope so.
