Selling Sunset of Netflix is real and not scripted. The reality show follows the real lives of the real estate agents. But, however, we see all the drama because of the editing. Chrishell claims to TMZ, about the show’s accuracy, where she explains a few things in the show are “amped up for the show but it’s not scripted.” She says, “Obviously, there are certain things that are a little amped up for the show… but honestly, I don’t really think that they asked him to do that. I mean, who would do that on purpose?”

The executive producer of the show, who also produces shows like The Hills and Laguna Beach, explains to Variety, “I can’t tell you how many hours we would sit in an edit bay just working on one scene. I think most reality shows would have turned it out in a day and we’ll spend a week.”
