The thrilling legal drama Suits became everyone’s favorite when it aired in 2011. The intriguing characters set up in the highly competitive legal world, that too in the bustling city of New York, were a delight to watch. One such character was of Meghan Markle. Additionally, she played the role of Rachel Zane in the television drama. If the girl boss had a definitive definition, then it would be Rachel Zane.

Her character was poised, competitive, caring, and ever hard-working. And when such a character leaves a drama, the fans and makers of the show are bound to be upset. However, this was not the case for Meghan Markle. Aaron Korsh told Radio 4 that he had written her character out a year ago before it actually happened.

He said, “I knew from a year ago that this relationship was burgeoning. And I had a decision to make because I didn’t want to intrude and ask her, ‘hey what’s going on and what are you going to do?” Therefore the creators collectively took the bait that Meghan and Harry were going to work out and wrote a natural exit for her character.

Rachel Zane got married to Mike Ross, played by Patrick J Adams, in Season 7 of the Suits. The two of them moved to Seattle to open a legal clinic. Furthermore, her co-star and close friend, Patrick J Adams, also left the series with Meghan.
