Netflix has a lot of crazy reality TV shows in their library with an amazing set of contestants. But The Circle takes the cake for having the weirdest concept. Nevertheless, the show seems to be popular enough to have a fourth new season made. The Circle season 4 just premiered on Netflix, and the whole world is hooked on it.
People may love the show, which pitches contestants against each other to win a huge cash prize. However, the audience seems to be particularly irritated with this season’s contestants.
Let us see who the new players are this season and what people are thinking about them.
What is the show about?
The Circle returns for season 4 on May 4 after three seasons of catfishing, hashtagging, and virtual bonding. The much-anticipated Netflix reality show will star nine newcomers who are eager to make a good first impression.
In the show, some participants take on the role of themselves, while others assume the role of someone else. It’s top-notch catfishing. The stronger your first impression, the more likely you are to stay in the competition.
The disqualified player will have the opportunity to reveal their identity to any cast member for the first time. And the prize is $150,000.
New contestants in The Circle season 4
The season’s major storyline involves Mel B and Emma Bunton, two of the Spice Girls, attempting to catfish the new set of individuals as “Jared” in the hopes of boosting the game’s total cash prize.
Yu Ling Wu, Crissa Jackson, Alyssa Ljubicich, Rachel Evans, Frank Grimsley, and Josh Brubaker are the six regular participants who have elected to play the game as themselves.

Alex Brizard (as “Nathan”), John Franklin (as “Carol”), and Parker Abbott (as “Paul”) are the three deceiving gamers who enter the apartment as a catfish.
Fans reaction
However, this year people seem to not be huge fans of the players and are extensively sharing their opinion about them on Twitter. Let us take a look at some of the tweets.

starting the circle season 4… so far this cast except john, alyssa and crissa feels like they’re way too hard to be iconic and are inauthentic

The popular consensus seems to be that new players are just “irritating.”

May 9, 2022 at 9:24 pmI do love this show, but yeah, the contestants this year are a bit much. I refuse to believe some of them didn’t know who Rod Stewart is. I would understand them not knowing some other older artists, but Rod Stewart? He was still having top 20 hits in the 90s, at the same time the Spice Girls were on the charts.
