“Who is this”: Fans React to Chris Evans’ Before and After Transformation for Netflix’s ‘The Gray Man’
Our Captain America is returning to the screens but minus the latex suit and his shield. This time he’s stepping into the shoes of an unhinged CIA agent in the big-budget Netflix movie, The Gray Man. The actor underwent a surprising physical transformation for the role. Considering the hard times the company is going through, this movie may be the ticket out of its misery. Chris Evans shared a before-after look
The 40-year-old actor mostly sports a clean-shaven look. But for his role in The Gray Man, the actor had to grow a mustache. But right after the shoot was over, the actor was back to his signature look. Chris plays Llyod Hansen, the main antagonist of the film.

The startling transformation surprised the fans.
Well, this also reminded us of the time Henry Cavill had a mustache. And creators had to use VFX to remove it for the Superman movie.

What is the million-dollar budget Netflix movie about?
Netflix has spent some huge bucks on The Gray Man. Ryan Gosling and Ana De Armas are also a part of the cast. The project also reunited Chris Evans with the directors Anthony and Joe Russo. They had directed 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

It follows Court Gentry, (Ryan Gosling) one of the CIA’s best men who suddenly uncovers some dark agency secrets. This sets off a global manhunt with Hansen (Evans) leading the mission. The 200 million dollar project will join the ranks of the big action thrillers like Extraction and Red Notice. It is based on Mark Greaney’s 2009 novel of the same name. The Russo brothers hope to expand the movie into a franchise, so we will see more of Evans and Gosling’s cat and mouse chase in the future. The film will stream on Netflix from July 22.
