Well, cool your heels and save your laughter because Netflix is bringing both of them together, performing right next to each other in the comedy film, You People. 

You People- Synopsis

Netflix, without revealing much, teased that the story revolves around a witty couple with cultural differences. They scrutinize the modern love and family dynamics amidst societal expectations and generational gaps. Further, in the 2022 Netflix movie Preview trailer, we can see people in You People having a cringe-worthy family dinner. Of course, it’s going to be fun watching them talk, walk, and laugh through all the dynamics and difficulties.

Notably, this is not a new premise, and the similarities trace back to 1967 when Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner made its debut in cinemas. At that time, 17 states didn’t approve of interracial marriages, and well, what could be better than addressing an issue such as this with pure satire? Although we have come a long way henceforth, we still have to go a long way.
