With the release year announced now, everyone is waiting for new updates on Stranger Things season 4, such as the additions to the cast.

We already know that the next season of Stranger Things is going to be a huge one. The scale is getting bigger, which inevitably adds more actors to the cast. Many prominent actors and actresses are going to join the cast of Stranger Things for season 4. That’s why fans wonder who the newcomers are. Well, here are the new additions to the cast of Stranger Things. Note that those actors are just what we know. The list is probably bigger and we’ll learn more about it when the new season is released.

Thanks to the first teaser that Netflix shared, we learned that Tom Wlaschiha is going to join the cast in Stranger Things season 4. He previously played in Game of Thrones. It seems like he will portray a Russian character.

While that teaser also confirmed the return of David Harbour, we have some other news on the current characters. Priah Ferguson, who plays the role of Erica, is now a series regular.

Nikola Đuričko is also among the names that’ll join the cast for season 4. He’ll probably portray a Russian character.

Joel Stoffer is reportedly going to have a small role in the fourth season. He previously played in Agents of SHIELD.

Levon Thurman-Hawke will join the cast for Stranger Things season 4 as well. He’s the brother of Maya Hawke, who plays Robin, in real life, but we don’t know his role yet.

After that, Netflix announced a list of newcomers to the cast with their characters. Check out the list below.

We might also see some of Eleven’s old friends return.

The latest additions were announced relatively recently. Netflix unveiled four new characters with their descriptions. Amybeth McNulty, who is the star of Anne with an E, is among those additions, too. Those characters make up a perfect foundation for a high-school plot.

• Amybeth McNulty as Vickie, a cool, fast-talking band nerd who catches the eye of one of our beloved heroes.
• Myles Truitt as Patrick, a Hawkins basketball star who has friends, talent, and a good life… until shocking events send his life spiraling out of control.
• Regina Ting Chen as Ms. Kelly, a popular guidance counselor who cares deeply for her students — especially those struggling the most.
• Grace Van Dien as Chrissy, Hawkins’ High lead cheerleader and the most popular girl in school. But beneath the seemingly perfect surface lies a dark secret.

Yeah, many new actors will be in the next season of Stranger Things. However, we’ll have to say goodbye to some of the characters. With the most prominent one being Billy, many characters will not be in Stranger Things season 4.

The new season is coming to Netflix sometime in 2022. The most possible release date is around March-April 2022, but there’s nothing official about that.
