Netflix has a slew of content lined up for its viewers, one of them being Anatomy of a Scandal. The streamer just released the trailer for it. The British courtroom drama is based on Sarah Vaughan’s novel of the same name. The trailer doesn’t reveal much apart from a sex scandal surrounding a politician. The setting is Westminster, London which explains the bleak lens and grey skies. It is equal parts a courtroom drama and a psychological thriller.

The psychological drama won’t be here before 15th April 2022. S.J (Jessica Jones, Succession) will direct the show. Big Little Lies creator, David E Kelley and House of Cards showrunner, Melissa James Gibson is in charge of adapting Sarah’s novel to Netflix. It will be a six-part anthology series. The future season, if Netflix orders one, will focus on a whole new scandal. Both the creators have worked on shows that deal with power, the privilege that comes with it, and sexual assaults. Netflix’s newest show also deals with such subjects – power, sexual assault, trauma, and a scandal that rocked an entire nation.
