Where Can You Watch Demon Slayer Season 2 Until It Comes on Netflix?

Demon Slayer season 2 is yet to arrive on Netflix. For fans of the anime, it appears to be a long hiatus. The first season was released in 2019, followed by the film Demon Slayer: Mugen Train in 2020, which followed the story of season one. The film became the highest-grossing anime of all time.

The show is adapted from Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga series. Furthermore, the feature film sequel to Demon Slayer‘s first season picks up where the last episode left off, with Tanjirou and Nezuko on a train investigating how and why 40 people have vanished from the passenger carrier in recent years. Demon Slayer Season 2 begins immediately after the film. Following the ongoing conflict between teen Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon King responsible for his parents’ heinous murder: Muzan Kibutsuji.

When will Demon Slayer season 2 arrive on Netflix?

Netflix has not yet announced an official release date for Demon Slayer season 2. The first season finale aired on September 28th, 2019, but it wasn’t available on Netflix until January 22nd, 2021. Fuji TV broadcasted the second season finale on February 13th, 2022. This means if the second season follows the same schedule as the first then the second season won’t arrive on Netflix until June 2023.

Demon Slayer season 2 picks up where the film, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, left off, adapting the manga in its episodes. It adapts the manga’s fan-favorite Entertainment District Arc, which leads Tanjiro to Japan’s red-light district to chase down a demon who has been wreaking havoc in the area. Tanjiro and a new friend with a personal connection to the mystery must figure out what’s going on before anyone else goes missing. The season also digs more into Hashira’s lore.
