You is one of the best series in the massive library of the popular streaming service. The series follows a young man named Joe, who is a toxic and obsessed lover, and his relationship life. The series managed to receive great reviews with its first two seasons. Most of the viewers binge-watched the first two seasons of the series over and over again. Thanks to its interesting protagonist and cliff-hanger finales, You became a highly anticipated series. So naturally, the fans of the show are curious about the release date of You season 3.
The drama and psychological thriller series were developed by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti. After making its debut on Lifetime and Netflix back in 2018 the series became a massive success. The first season of the series received more than 43 million views on Netflix. Thanks to its amazing performance, the streaming service renewed the series and the show then moved to Netflix and also received Netflix Original title in the process.

It is safe to say that the world’s leading streamer saved the show from cancelation and decided its fate. Yes. Netflix has renewed the series back in January 2020. As the filming started in the early stages of the pandemic, the production process took longer than planned. With that said, we also know that the wait is almost over as the new season is right at the door. The new episodes are slated to release during the fourth quarter of 2021. So You season 3 is actually close and it will probably land on the platform during October 2021.

Though we do not think that these two will live happily ever after as Joe found himself another hunt as he looked through a fence and observed his neighbor.

We will see Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti return in the third season. There will be new characters as well in addition to the familiar faces we have seen in the previous seasons.
