When Will ‘Shadow and Bone’ be Coming to Netflix?

Shadow and Bone release date has been shared. The release date of the new Netflix series Shadow and Bone was announced with a trailer. In fact, It is a fantasy-adventure novel by Leigh Bardugo. Netflix is making a series adaptation of this novel next year.

Shadow and Bone is Grisha Trilogy’s first novel. The Grishaverse series by Leigh Bardugo consists of three books in total. The first book in the series, ‘Shadow and Bone’ also published in 2012, the second book, Siege and Storm in 2013, and finally, Collapse and Ascension in 2014. Netflix announced in 2019 that will make a Netflix Original series in the future. After that we didn’t get any information then, the series came up with recent updates.

Each episode of the series comprises one hour. There will be 8 episodes in total.

What is the Synopsis of Shadow and Bone?

It tells the story of Alina Starkov, an orphan soldier, discovering a special power that can save his war-defeated country and what happened afterward. As the threat grows in Darkland, Alina Starkov joins an elite army of magical soldiers named Grisha and walks away from everything she knows. As she struggles to develop her power, she realizes that allies and enemies can be one and nothing in the world is what it seems. Including a dangerous group of charismatic criminals shows that it takes more than magic to survive.

When will Shadow and Bone be released on Netflix?

The series will take its place in the Netflix library in April 2021. The production will be broadcast with all its episodes at once, as with all other Netflix originals.
