Netflix has officially set their new Originals movie ‘Malcolm & Marie‘ for
winter 2021. Director Sam Levinson’s new movie also starring Euphoria’s Zendaya
and Tenet’s John David Washington as main cast members. Check our article for

Malcolm & Marie is an upcoming Netflix Original

directed by Europhia’s creator Sam Levinson. After he shot the movie, Netflix
has taken the rights to the movie. They will compete with Searchlight Pictures,
HBO, and A24 for the streaming rights and won. Netflix just paid $30 million for
streaming rights.

This movie also shot between June 17-July 2 at Feldman Architecture’s
Caterpillar House, in Carmel, California, USA.

‘Malcolm & Marie’ will release on Netflix on February 5th, 2021. The cast
members also share a portion of the income of this sale with the Feeding America
organization.

Here is the official synopsis from:

“Sam Levinson teams up with Zendaya and John David Washington for an achingly
romantic drama in which a filmmaker and his girlfriend return home following a
celebratory movie premiere as he awaits what’s sure to be an imminent critical
and financial success.

The evening suddenly takes a turn as revelations about their relationships begin
to surface, testing the strength of their love. Working with cinematographer
Marcell Rev, Levinson creates a film of rare originality; an ode to the great
Hollywood romances as well as a heartfelt expression of faith in the medium’s
future.”

Cast and characters: 

For now, we know only two cast members one of the Zendaya will play the role of
Marie’s character, while John David Washington will play the role of Malcolm’s
character.
