Rick and Morty is an American adult animated science fiction TV series for Adult Swim created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon. The series follows space-traveling adventures and misadventures of mad and alcoholic scientist Rick Sanchez and his 14-year-old grandson Morty Smith.

The characters of the series are the members of the Smith household, which consists of parents Jerry and Beth, their children Summer and Morty. And Rick Sanchez who is the main character is Beth’s father and he lives with them as a guest. In the series, different versions of the characters inhabit other dimensions.

The fourth season of Rick and Morty consists of 10 episodes premiered on November 10th, 2019.

Here is the official synopsis: 

“Rick Sanchez is still living with his daughter Beth’s family and causing more trouble than ever. Season 3 is the rest of the family, his son-in-law Jerry, grand-daughter Summer, and grandson Morty (Justin Roiland) are dragged into Rick’s intergalactic adventures, as he faces new threats and mysteries of his secret past are revealed. Can the family survive Rick’s insanity and all the chaos the universe throws at them?”

The episodes of Rick & Morty’s fourth season are released weekly in many regions of Netflix such as Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Mexico, and the Netherlands since June 2020. Season 4B added in other European countries such as Netflix Spain, Italy, and France.

However, only five out of the 10 new episodes of Rick and Morty were released on Netflix UK on June 18. Netflix UK and Ireland announced on November 4 that the second half of Rick and Morty season 4 would arrive on December 4th, 2020.
