The Last Chance U series will switch up in 2021! The series will switch to the court and focus on a basketball team for the first time ever. Netflix officially announced the release date of Last Chance U: Basketball. The show first started back in 2016, the viewers got the chance to see the East Mississippi Community College, football team.

This time the docuseries of basketball will follow the East Los Angeles College Huskies (ELAC) in their chase to a California state basketball championship. John Mosley, the head coach, former D1 recruits, and powerhouse athletes are on the team. Whiteley, Joe LaBracio, Lucas Smith, and James D. Stern serve as executive producers on “Last Chance U: Basketball.” Co-executive producers on the project include Andrew Fried, Dane Lillegard, and Adam Leibowitz. Episodes are directed by Whiteley, Leibowitz, and Daniel George McDonald.

When is the Last Chance U: Basketball season 1 Netflix release date?

Last Chance U: Baseketball will be premiering on Netflix on March 10th, 2021. This documentary series will be available on the streaming platform Netflix worldwide. The series also will consist of eight episodes and each episode will have a runtime of about 55 minutes.
