The much-awaited finale episodes of the Adult Swim animated series Rick and Morty will not keep fans hanging anymore.

The season was initially contracted to release the episodes every Sunday in succession over a span of 10 weeks. But fans were left bewildered when the last two episodes were halted after the 8th episode’s premiere on August 9th. The producers gave no official reason for the delay.

What do we know about the season finale?

After almost a month’s hiatus, season 5’s episodes 9 and 10 are coming together as a two-part finale. Episode 9, ‘Forgetting Sarick Mortshall’ and Episode 10, ‘Rickmurai Jack’ will be Rick and Morty’s first hour-long finale.

The unprecedented wait has raised fans’ expectations and conceivably, the finale will measure up while also answering the questions of the show’s continuity, future plot, and what newer feats would follow. Moreover, what happened to Evil Morty and Space Beth remains to be seen.

Adult Swim had renewed the much-loved show for 70 more episodes in 2018. This implies that we can expect at least five more seasons of hysterical insanity and sci-fi lunacy on the way. The timeline, however, is not disclosed as of yet.

Adult Swin UK uploaded a trailer of the finale on its YouTube on August 30th. After a quarrel, Rick is seen to be replacing Morty with two crows, chosen by spinning the wheel of insults. What is Rick without Morty will be interesting to watch as Morty goes on to his adventures.

When are the final episodes coming?

The finale episodes 9 and 10 will be streaming on Netflix from September 6th, Monday. With these, the show will come to an end, but only for the time until the next season drops.
