When Is The Leaving Date of Bates Motel Series?
The A&E’s Bates Motel series all five seasons will be leaving Netflix US in February 2021. While we were already thinking that the big licensed removals from Netflix were too much, we have another news to be sorry more.
The series from A&E is nominated to Emmy three times. No doubt, this is one of the best shows they have ever produced. The series contains the talents of Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore with their strange mother and son relationship, based on the characters from Psycho. There was talk that Bates Motel would not be on Netflix anymore. The bad news is that day has almost arrived. All the five seasons of the series will leave Netflix US on February 20th, 2021. The series was streaming on Netflix since 2014 in the US. The final fifth season was released on February 21st, 2018.
It means that Netflix has held the license of NBC Universal for the lifetime of the show. In this case, this has been taken 3 years during the show. The next question is where the series will be streaming.
According to the distributor, Bates Motel will be heading to Peacock which is owned also by NBC Universal. However, the confirmation has not happened yet.
