The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window will premiere on January 28th, 2022, exclusively on Netflix. The limited television series has a theme of dark comedy thriller with eight episodes, describes as a, “darkly comedic, wine-soaked, satirical slant on the psychological thriller that will have you guessing who, what, where, why and how in the hell?! until the very end.”

The series develops around a woman named Anna, played by Kristen Bell, who lives in the comfort of her home. Anna is heartbroken, drinks wine, and watches the world pass by. She has no connection with the outer world. But her comfort days have ended when she witnesses a murder, or she believes a woman was murdered across the street.

The protagonist of the series is Anna, played by Kristen Bell. Other supporting cast includes Tom Riley as Neil, Mary Holland as Sloane, Shelley Hennig as Lisa, Christina Anthony as Detective Lane, Samsara Yett as Emma, Cameron Britton as Buell, Benjamin Levy Aguilar as Rex, and Michael Ealy as Douglas.

The plot of the series develops around Anna who has a monotonous life, every day is the same for her. She always sits by the window with a glass of wine and watches her neighborhood. Everyone is moving, without her. One day, she witnesses a gruesome murder across the street. Or did she?

Bell has been in the industry for quite some time. But the pandemic has been a tough time for everyone and Bell. But she explains how much fan support helped her to deal with the pandemic. According to Romper, Bell explains, “Getting fan mail that says, ‘I was in a really dark time considering some terrible things, and I watched the way Veronica Mars handled problems and it gave me some strength’ — that’s more meaningful to me than almost anything. I put that right up there with having kids. When I’m on my deathbed, that’s one of the things I’ll be thinking about. There’s no way to describe how important that will be to me for the rest of my life.”
