Zack Snyder is not new to Netflix. His previous films, Army of the Dead and Army of Thieves were received positively on the streamer. Now the Oscar-winning director is going to write and direct a space saga, Rebel Moon for the streamer. Quite obviously, fans are pretty darn excited about the project. But the streamer has been keeping quiet about the project only giving a few updates here and there. The streamer took to Twitter to play a game with the fans where they decided on their perfect Snyder film. 

Fans conceptualized Snyder’s next movie

Quite a few noteworthy names popped up from Ben Affleck, Dwayne Johnson to Henry Cavill for the lead. While others chose Amy Adams, Scarlett Johansson, Naomi Scott, and Rachel McAdams for the lead’s love interest.

Interestingly, while most opted for a male lead, a Twitterati chose Charlize Theron as the lead.

Quite a surprise was the fans wanting to see Timothee Chalamet in the antagonistic role. Well, we bet he can pull that off. 

@snyder_all hilariously tweets that Snyder should make a movie on his life. As for his romantic interest, he left that responsibility to Zack. 

Rebel Moon on Netflix: New cast additions to the Zack Snyder movie

Rebel Moon announced new cast additions. Cary Elwes, Corey Stoll, Alfonso Herrera, and Michael Huisman will join the Zack Snyder helmed movie on Netflix. They will join the previously announced cast – Charlie Hunnam, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Stuart Martin, Djimon Hounsou, Sofia Boutella, and Rupert Friend. 

It’s truly a stellar cast as almost all the actors had promising careers. Cary’s filmography includes The Princess Bride, Black Christmas, and Saw. He has also bagged a role in Mission: Impossible 7 and Operation Fortune: Rude de Guerre. The man appeared on Stranger Things as well. His role is that of the king of the galactic empire. Other roles are still under wraps. Stoll’s notable works include West Side Story, The Mant Saints of Newark, and Ant-Man. Whereas Michael appeared on Game of Thrones, The Flight Attendant, and The Haunting of the Hill House. Alfonso is returning to Netflix after starring in Ozark and Sense8. 

Rebel Moon is about a peaceful galactic colony that is suddenly facing an invasion from Belisarius. The people send off a young woman on a mission to recruit warriors to save their planet.
